Our Inspiration: Matthew 5:13-16

"You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven."

A Biblical Foundation

At Salt and Light Academy, our name is not merely a title; it is a guiding principle deeply rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ. The name "Salt and Light" finds its origin in the profound words spoken in Matthew 5:13-16. These verses challenge us to be more than just passive observers in the world. They call us to action, to be agents of positive change, and to illuminate the path for others to follow.

Salt and light are two substances that permeate and transform the food, or the darkness, in which they are found. Like salt and light, believers are to have a transformative effect on the surrounding society. Our desire at Salt and Light Academy is to create a foundation for our future generations to thrive and be the salt and light that they are called to be.

Agents of Transformation

Equipping the Next Generation

Just as salt enhances the taste of food, we aim to instill in our students the values of integrity, compassion, and service. We want them to be the ones who stand up for what is right, who lend a helping hand to those in need, and who bring joy and positivity wherever they go

Being the Salt: Bringing Flavor to the World

Just as salt enhances the taste of food, we aim to instill in our students the values of integrity, compassion, and service. We want them to be the ones who stand up for what is right, who lend a helping hand to those in need, and who bring joy and positivity wherever they go.

Being the Light: Illuminating the Path

Like a beacon on a hill, we encourage our students to let their light shine in every aspect of their lives. This means fostering a love for learning, nurturing creativity, and cultivating leadership skills. We want them to be the leaders of tomorrow, unafraid to lead with wisdom, humility, and grace.
