We will be accepting kindergartners who are at least 5 years old by January 1, up to second grade in our first year. However, we are willing to consider younger students on a case-by-case basis if they demonstrate readiness. Our goal is to add an additional grade each year so that no student ages out of the school.

We will start accepting applications in February 2025 and our schools first semester will start in August 2025.

We love the members of our community that feel led to help our school. There are a limited number of opportunities available to help. if you have a specific talent or interest, please reach out to us at info@saltandlightacademy.org. If we are able to schedule any volunteer days, we will post them on our social media pages.

Yes, our school will follow a traditional school schedule, meeting Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 3 PM.

Our vision is to keep the student teacher ration 1:15. Since hiring 2 teachers we plan to accept 30 students our first year.

Yes, our goal is to open the farm up to the public for special events and some weekends to share our farm with others from the community. We will post that information on our social media pages.

The school is located in our repurposed farmhouse, on the North end of our 290 acre farm that we refer to as Honey B’s Farm. The address is 1445 Red Rd Howe, Texas 75459.
